Research content
Modern "Chemical Engineering" was originally developed to support design and construction of chemical plants. Now, its basic idea, balance of material and of energy, combination of equilibrium and rate processes, are widely used in many fields. In our laboratory, application of such basic idea to the problems of environmental, energy, and material fields, are attempted. For example, planting Eucalyptus trees in crop fields of Australian semi-arid land, is an application of water balance modeling, and will be an effective counter measure for salt accumulation.
Research theme

1. Salinity and Water management using salt tolerant tree plantation
2. Bio-fuel production by F-T Synthesis
3. Modeling and Simulation of Chemical Vapor deposition
