Research content
Stabilization and loss reduction of the power system are necessary for massive integration of intermittent renewable energy. HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) transmission systems and switchgears used in them are the key technologies. New HVDC circuit breaker has been developed with new approach with application of thermal plasma in liquid.
We promote AI (Artificial intelligence) project for the future wind turbine generation systems.
Wireless transmission systems for severer conditions and atmosphere like disaster recovery site, underwater and cosmic space have been studied.
