Research content
Lysolecithins can be formed enzymatically by removing one acyl group from phospholipids. They were reported to be correlated with inflammations. Lysolecithins are usually analyzed by LC-MS/MS. Therefore, it is not handy. We aim to establish more convenient method for the detection of lysolecithin by HPLC and to discuss the physiological importance of lysolecithin.

Research theme

Establish the method for the detection of lysolecithin and its application. An increase of the ratio of free cholesterol/cholesterol ester by the oxidative stress
