Computer Science Program /Physics on multi-layered magnetic thin films. Sensing of DNA/RNA information. Theory and computer simulation for magnetic thin films or Nucleic Acid hybridization

Research content
In this laboratory, microorganism genetic information is measured using a fluorescence technology, and a small measurement system is researched and developed for the ubiquitous sensing. Besides, a magnetic thin film material for the magnetic sensor which aims at sensing the living body magnetism is researched. The computer simulation analysis concerning a magnetic material and DNA hybridization is also performed. According the magnetic sensor, the triple-layered magnetic thin films which respond to high frequency magnetic field are researched. In the measurement of genetic information, the portable system using polarization analysis is developed with wireless and automatic data processing. For both of the above-mentioned system, conservation of energy is also taken into consideration.

Research theme

1. High frequency magnetic response for the triple-layered magnetic thin films.
2. Rapid sensing and screening of DNA/RNA information (sequence) or ligand peptide.
3. Theory and computer simulation for multi-layered magnetic thin films or Nucleic Acid hybridization.
