Research content
Microorganisms are consisted of many species, and there are a lot of species obligated beneficial capacities of assimilation and material productivity. Additionally, the techniques of genetic engineering and culture for each microorganism are currently improved based on the fundamental knowledge. Along with those backgrounds, in this study, the isolation of microorganisms from each environment, creation of gene modified organisms, and construction of effective culture systems will be conducted to meet the demands of society by using microorganisms.

Research theme

1. Isolation of environmental microorganisms producing value-added compounds
2. Creation of microorganisms producing value-added compounds by genetic engineering and environmental acclimation
3. Construction of beneficial microbial-culturing systems for producing of value-added compounds
