| In this research lab, we study what humans are thinking during problem solving and make computer programs that mimic these human thought processes. As a test environment, we use a variety of games like shogi (Japanese chess) because in games there is a clear objective in winning, which makes studying human problem solving easier. We study what human players are thinking while playing games to reach our ultimate goal: a computer that can play games in a human-like way. |
