1. Isolation of environmental microorganisms producing value-added compounds
2. Creation of microorganisms producing value-added compounds by genetic engineering and environmental acclimation
3. Construction of beneficial microbial-culturing systems for producing of value-added compounds
Research summary
Microorganisms are consisted of many species, and there are a lot of species obligated beneficial capacities such as assimilation capability and material productivity. Additionally, the techniques of genetic engineering and culture for each microorganism are currently improved based on the fundamental knowledge. Along with those backgrounds, we will isolate microorganisms from each environment, create gene modified organisms, and construct effective culture systems to meet the demands of society by using microorganisms.
