On Friday, October 26, we invited nine faculty and staff members from Kangwon National University in South Korea to visit our campus. They were particularly interested in our cooperative education endeavors, so after Dean Ohyama of the School of Engineering introduced the school itself, Chief Toi from the Coop Center gave an overview of the school's cooperative education program. The visitors also stopped by the school labs to see the robot entered in the NHK Student Robot Contest and see students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in class, eagerly asking questions about our curriculum and experiment facilities.
