School of Media Science Holds Joint Symposium with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) from Thailand
On July 5, 2019, the School of Media Science held a joint symposium with the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand. The two schools, which share a MoU, held the symposium in the Media Technology Center on the 5th floor of the Katayanagi Advanced Research Laboratories. We welcomed eight instructors and four students from KMUTT.
This is our fourth joint symposium, and the two campuses have taken turns hosting the event every few years.

At the symposium, KMUTT gave four oral presentations while the School of Media Science gave three, with research poster presentations by students (both undergraduate and graduate) from both schools. There were some very lively discussions over the poster presentations, hopefully giving the students some good experience in presenting their research internationally.
Through this symposium, we endeavored to promote joint research between faculty, expand the next symposium to include other universities, and resolved to strengthen our collaboration more than ever.
